<p>I have lost 3kg and gained a lot of muscle mass and definition. It&#8217;s been grea to have some friends also doing the challenge as it&#8217;s given us the opportunity to train together and have some fun and encourage each other along the way.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve treated myself to some new gym  kit from the Brasilfit sale from Action Studios &#8211; great bargains and will keep me motivated so that I can continue working out for summer!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well the six week challenge is over!</p>
<p>I can&#8217;t believe it but, it actually wasn’t that bad. I am really glad I took up the challenge and although I didn&#8217;t reach my goal of losing six kilos, I am pretty happy with losing 4kgs and with the reduction of 5cm off my waist. I think this has been a good start and I plan to continue to lose a bit more weight. Now that I am in the routine of the gym, it&#8217;s been much easier to find that motivation and energy that was a little hard to find before.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m looking foward to the summer, hope we get some good weather soon as I want to also get outdoors for some cycling and sport, as well as continuing with my gym routine.<br />
Maybe I&#8217;ll even find a new challenge&#8230;?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="color: #000000;">Well, I&#8217;ve reached the end of my six weeks &#8211; but certainly not the end of my fitness regime &#8211; and I&#8217;ve stepped onto those scales&#8230;. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">I am really happy to report that the scales tell me &#8211; 79.5kg! I&#8217;m pretty happy with that, fairly close to my goal weight and, I am feeling the difference, healthier and stronger. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">I am going to continue with my program and build on it as my knee gets stronger. The plan put together by the personal trainer at the All Sorts fitness centre has really helped this time round compared with other times I&#8217;ve tried to do it all on my own. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Bring on the summer!</span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well, in a way, I’m not surprised to say it but, my main challenge still seems to be improving my eating habits. It’s one of those things that really does require some preparation and planning to get it right. I will just have to keep trying as I know it has to be done.</p>
<p>I have definitely noticed an improvement since my new exercise program, my body shape has been changing. It’s not necessarily huge changes that everyone can notice but I can see it and feel it.</p>
<p>I am enjoying the challenge of riding to work now too. Did you know it is Ride 2 Work day on Wednesday 13<sup> </sup>October? <a href="http://www.ride2work.com.au/">www.ride2work.com.au</a></p>
<p>Also doing regular RPM (indoor cycling) class at the gym to help me manage the long ride to work!</p>

<p>The recent training certainly was noticed and helped me pull through a 2 day softball tournament that really tested my leg muscles! I can pretty much guarantee that I wouldn’t have lasted the whole tournament prior to the challenge.</p>

<p>How are you all doing with your 6 week challenge? </p>
<p>This week I have come across a slight problem. Illness. ARRGHH! I started the week off well and BAM I got hit by a truck! Not literally, but it did feel like it. I spent a good 20+ hours sleeping (in one day! yikes!!), I dont know where it came from but I will be glad to see it go! So I have had to take it easy for the remainder of the week. How annoying? So I am going to have to rest up and mix it up with a gentle approach and do a Yoga or Pilates class instead of my usual workout. So if you don&#8217;t see me around the gym, have a look in the fitness studio! </p>
<p>Make sure you keep moving!</p>
